Festive occasion, a warmth in air and a feeling of Joy on everyones face..
This is Diwali...the most awaited and exicting festivals among all other.
This year diwali is a bit different for me, as just now we all have been shifted to a new place and on diwali coming home in a totally new neighbourhood is slightly depressing. Before this year diwali in our old home was a great fun. All friends used to gather at one place and lightning crackers, eating a hell lot of sweets, njoying every moment and simultaneously also planning for a late night cracker show. During old times all of my friends used to have late night bomb show..
We used to save some of that "SULTI BOMBS" for the night. When all are asleep than we used to light them and make all our colony again lively.

But this year coming from college for diwali was a bit different. College life brings maturity in one. So some of my college friends had planned to have a SMOKE LESS DIWALI this year. This idea seems rather funny to some people as they think "Tum nahi chalogee phatakey toh usse kuch jayadda fayadda nahi hoga". But as some said right "kissi koo toh initiative lena padegaa". So why not us.
For me crackers lightning is more like burning money. That 10,000 crackers in embedded in one, just give the fun for 15-20 seconds but the pollution which it creates is equal to lighting 200 cigars. If we are not awake than who will think for future. As INDIA having a asset of most Teenage+working population in the world, than rather making it a load, lets make it a boon for the country. We have to think for future of INDIA, we are the ones who are going to face much more challenges in the coming future so better we prepare ourself right now.
Wasting money in crackers can be used in giving government donations.
I think that giving a smile on a child is much more important than burning money into ashes and noying the smoke.
So i request all to make a step towards a better INDIA, a Developed INDIA..!!!
