I am the 1st roll number in my section and all bad things first pass through me before reaching to my group partners or my section. It was the lab exam for CCS (computer controlled systems). I was the first one to go in the lab exam for the viva and code submission. As i reached in the lab, i got soo scared seeing 3 TA's all gearing up to take my viva. Dude! my hands started trembling and sweat was poruring out of my palms. I assembled my torn off courage and reached to them.
They first ask "These all codes have you done?"
I was one the better part this time as i know every code how it works. I said confidently "Yes sir, I have done all of the coding."
Than he asked can you do this thing in "Matlab" ?
I said "Sure!"
I opened the "Matlab" and started coding. As was running fine till he ask me to put a unit step function as the input and find the response of the system which i have taken. I have done the same with other transfer functions so was like banging the keyboard as I just want to get out of that place as soon as possible. And there was the mishap. As i complied the code there was red line in Matlab workspace displaying ERROR. I was like WTF, how it can come. Was working fine on my system. I checked and rechecked the code and no mistake in it. I was like "Sir, i dont know what is the error {matlab guys dont know how to make error messages.}. My code is perfeclty fine." But the life sucking TA's were not listening to me. They said "Do what you have told to do and remove all the errors ."
I said " Sir, I can run the same code on my system and it will work fine." I did remote desktop on my system and run the same code and worked perfeclty fine. I said to them "Sir, please beforehand check that the software." He was like "No, its ur system therefore the code is working fine. You have donesomething else." I got so fed up, i asked him Sir cant u see, i have just copied my code from here and pasted there. He was not listening to any of my appeals. Than finally our Course teacher came. He asked what is the problem here. I told him that sir the matlab is not working fine and i have shown my code running on my system. They are not understanding that thing . Finally when Sir told them that he is right ask him question if they want to ask or let him go. Than they said no we havent asked any of the question to him till now, so now we will take VIVA. I was like WTF, its been 25 mins I have been here, now what more you want from me ? Than they started asking questions Finally.
All were like RAPE HIM, he is the first one and they all wanted to get most out of me, i dont know why. In b/w questionarrier I got so tensed and fed up, i started giving offending answers. For eg. One of the question was "What is the steady state of ramp function?" Now water was over my head and I answered like "Sir, what are you asking. Ramp function does not have any steady state unless a time duration is defined. " He feels that i am making fun of him so he asked again "Do you even know what is a ramp function is ?" I was like "Yaa!! I do know." I have drawn a figure of a line passing through origion and said this is how a ramp function looks like. He than asked "Draw the axis" I was stopping myself to say any offending words as if i know what a ramp function is that i will surely know that what are the axis. FUCKER! I draw the axis. Than he asked "Can u tell the equation for this sort of function ?" I said "Dude! its a like passing through origion, who doesnt know its equation, but I told him that also. Its "y=mt" . "
He asked again "What is "m" in the equation ?" I was now soo done with that guy, I answered "Sir, in my times it was called slope of the line and now i dont know if the notation and the nomenclature is changed." At the same instant our Course Teacher came, saying why are to taking soo long in taking VIVA of a single person. There are many in the queue. Than finally TA's told me that i can go. And before coming out i said "Was a nice time with you guys, hope to see you again :P".

As i reached out all my groups members were like "Abe kya hua? Tujhko itna time kasie laga ? Baaki saare log toh itna jaldi jaldi aa rahe hai ? "
And all i said "Fuck them". All the other group members came out in maximum 5 mins and i was the lucky one to face those nerds for so long. This was the worst VIVA i have ever given, though not in the part of questions but to the people who took it .

Mathura Trip

Just came from a trip to the land of Lord Krishna's Birth. Got tip of the life from the driver we hired to get us there. We asked him to also be the part of the PARIKRAMA we was about to do in GOVARDHAN. But he refused to do so. We asked him that you might be visiting this holy place at least once in a month. Than you are so lucky person to get DARSHAN of krishna in such short periods. He said its not like as you think. The driver community has a tradition of not visiting temples when they escort someone to that place. Its not good. As he said there is another person who is paying for the trip, we are just the medium to take them to the destination. So as we are not paying for the trip we don't visit any of the temples. We may go to the same place more than twice in a week but don't get our feet in those temples. We only visit them when we invest our money to come to that place, not otherwise.
It touched me so deep inside. The people who live on the grass root level of INDIA can have such a high thinking. This was the best incident which happened on this trip. Well after such a long time i visited a temple, was good experience in that regard also. Feet are still in pain by giving PARIKRAMA of GOVARDHAN, but who cares now. Njoyed the trip to the fullest and got such a nice thought of life.
