-: Marriage Exprience :-

Marriage Experience..
I went to a marriage party after about a year. I was pretty much excited for it. As it was after
such a long time and I have never visited a marriage party in Jaipur. I have heard a lot about
how much happening the marriages are organized in Jpr. So was looking forward to be the
part of such an occasion.

Marriage 1: This was a theme marriage party. The theme was of the culture of RAJA's of
Jaipur. The weather in the jpr since the morning was pleasant as there were showers during
the day and night was also engulfed in the tiny water droplets falling from the sky making
it perfect for such times. At the entrance we were welcomed by the traditional people with
turbines putting TILAK on the forehead of guests. Walking the grand entrance alley there
were people standing on the sideways, sprinkling ETAR. Was astonished by seeing the
wonderful arrangement over there. After that we finally got the privilege to meet the host
of the party. Host are generally tooo busy in such party but they kind of efficient in
squeezing 5-10 min for each guest. Was nice meeting the uncle and aunty after such a long
time.
Getting on the supper part. I saw the stem glasses with different coloured liquids poured in
them. As I walk down closer to them, they were MOCKTAILS, the best drink according to
me. I asked for the PINACOLADA, but was not in the menu. But no worries, I than choose
the BLUE LAGOON. That was a nice start. After that I went over the snacks stalls. Kind of
attracting me from the beginning. The same was the case with many other people also.
Suddenly all the things start looking so crowded as bees are attracted towards honey. I just
browse down to see where to start off. I had my mind planned I will get the thing first which
takes minimum time to come to my plate. I saw a very new type there, was bannered as
QUICK BHELPURI. The name attracted me towards it. Seeing the customization of the
same dish, I was not soo happy, but thought of giving it a shot. I just grabbed a bowl and as
I reached the spoon to take it, someone stopped me in the middle. There was a aunty who
had also put her hand on the same serving spoon and said to me "Beta, pahele bacchon ko
lene doo. Tum toh baad mein bhi le sakte hoon." I was like WTF, i was about to put in my
bowl and if this little kid wait more 10 seconds than nothing is going to happen to him.
Than I thought to myself that even I can also wait for 10 seconds more and ask the kid to fill
his bowl first. But suddenly I changed my mind that I don’t want this anymore and I walked
off.
Reached another destination, the stall named CHILA. The cook was to first cut in into
pieces before serving. As he cut the pieces of the big CHILA, people went made. Grabbing,
snatching it form the hands spilling all the filling on the serving table. I decided that
whatever happens, I want a piece of the dish. I don’t know how managed to get one piece. I
shared it with MAA and said to her I will never go over there. People are going nuts at that
place.
Reached the famous PAKODI stall. It fully suited with the rainy climate around. I was the
first person standing in the invisible queue. An uncle was just behind me and was moving
closer as was pushing me away from the counter, to grab my position. I was standing firm at
my place for some time, but then I gave up finally, thinking you take first, I can wait,
addicted of waiting...its me. And as I moved behind him, I saw his face with a very hasty
look but he was emotionless and didn’t show any sign of guilt for what he has done. This
was not enough which happened. After taking the PAKODI, the same person got to take
the CHUTNEY. I was behind him. There were 2 kinds of CHUTNEY with separate serving
spoon in each bowl. But the man was crazy he took both the CHUTNIES with the same
spoon and mixed each of them in one another. I was soo frustrated by this act, I asked the
waiter at the counter to was the spoons and give the new one for the time being. I took and
just after me another UNCLE committed the same mistake.
This was like a final nail in the coffin. It all turned me down and killed all the apatite. As we
moved out of the place, I decided this experience deserve to be a post in my blog. That
wasn’t enough for the day as we were to visit another party also.

Marriage 2:
As the atmosphere was a bit rainy but now the intensity has been increased. As we reached
there. The arrangement was not as incredible as the previous one. But I always like calm
starting and memorable endings. The same was waiting for me. This was the marriage of
the DIDI, I have knower for past 12 yrs. Wasn’t in quite touch with her, but was looking
forward to meet her. The rain started pouring with a greater intensity and all took the
shade of a solid 3 roomed structure nearby. One of room there was reserved for the BRIDE.
Maa went to meet DIDI, I was standing with papa talking about the arrangement, telling
about my night out once in the rain. Maa came and said that DIDI wants to meet you. I was
also excited meeting her after such a long time. As I reached near the room, I can hear
giggling coming from inside. The door was a bit opened and I peeked inside I was horrified
rather. All females inside that room. DIDI was sitting in the corner surrounded by her
girlfriends. The room also has some of the aged occupants, must be DIDI's chachi's, bua's
and other relatives. I was feeling rather shy going in. But I finally managed the courage to
go inside. As I put my first foot inside the room. DIDI noticed me and said "Hi!!". I was soo
relieved by that small word. I wonder she recognized me after such a long time also. All her
girlfriends suddenly has a look "Who is this ??". As i walked skipping over the stuff in the
way close to her. We handshake and I noticed the eye catching MEHANDI which embraced
her hands. The softness was still preserved in her hands as yrs ago. She asked me how was I
and howz life been. Was answering her questions with a cute smile. I has always had a
special way to make the people laugh on this day of thier life. I just bend down to her
height, I a bit tall and even she was lifting her eyes to a enough height even when sitting on
chair. As i bent, I asked her if she was feeling HUNGRY? She with a cute smile nodded. I
reached my pocket and get a mint chocolate. I said to her, All I can give you right now is
this thing only, hope you njoy this also. She was pleased hearing that. After that also we
chatted for about a minute and as she was to meet another people also so I signed off. I asked
her to visit home and wish her all the best for the future. Before leaving I don’t know which
feeling overpowered my minds, I just said GOODBYE in a style to all the beauties sitting
around DIDI. Njoyed visiting this place more than the first one. As all the anger, frustration
was now gone. Still wasn’t hungry so haven’t had the food there, thought of making maggi
noodles in the night.

After reaching the home, just switched on my laptop and changed clothes utilizing the
time it takes to come from HIBERNATION MODE to ALIVE MODE. Started writing this post
and since now I am finished I am also feeling hungry. Going to njoy the maggi. :D
